CASH ADVANCE MATH / KLOVER CASH ADVANCE
Check the price of standard and faster delivery, the deposit requirements and what happens on payday before choosing an advance.
We may earn a commission from some provider links. It never changes the order, which is always set by cost. How we make money
Klover Basic advances do not require Klover+. Standard ACH has no delivery fee; choosing faster delivery adds a published maximum fee.
The published maximum is $750. Wisconsin has a $150 maximum and different fees; Indiana has its own fee table. Connecticut and Maryland use points rather than express fees.
Points can reduce delivery fees. The help center also warns that linking a debit card may have enrolled a user in Klover+, so check which paid features are active before requesting an advance.

Every example uses 14 days, another bank, $0 tip, one advance per month and no qualifying Varo deposits. Required membership is allocated to this one advance. Total payback includes that membership even when it is billed separately.
Instant examples use an external account. MoneyLion standard delivery still requires MoneyLion Spend. The provider sets the actual repayment date. The 14-day period is a comparison assumption. These are general fee illustrations, with state exceptions and personal limits still to check.
Unpublished charges stay unknown. An amount above the modeled limit stays unavailable; it is not treated as a free advance. Equivalent APR annualizes the cost for comparison and is not the provider's advertised or legal APR.

3+ direct deposits from an employer into your checking account within the last 60 days; payroll names must match exactly; consistent frequency with no gaps. Each paycheck $250 or more on a 7- or 14-day schedule; monthly pay, self-employment/gig income, unemployment, transfers, app deposits (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App), cash, mobile and paper-check deposits do not count (SSI only on a 7- or 14-day cycle). Checking account active and in good standing for 90+ days with a positive balance; savings accounts not accepted; must link bank account and debit card; must be physically in the U.S. No credit check and no minimum credit score.
U.S. only (must be physically in the U.S.). No excluded states published. Connecticut and Maryland: no express (Immediate Debit) fees allowed; residents can only get an advance by redeeming points to cover the delivery fee, and the help center says standard ACH advances were also removed there (the Terms say CT/MD users 'may access all of Klover Services, but do not have access to paying Express Fees'). Wisconsin: max advance $150 (pricing page). State registrations published in the Terms: California 04-CCFPL-2584190-3450207; Kansas 2584190; Maryland 2584190; Missouri EWA-26-9575; Nevada EWA00007; Utah 14245782-EWAS; Wisconsin 2584190EWA; 'Klover may also perform the Services subject to regulations in Arkansas, Louisiana and South Carolina.'
Repayment date is set automatically from your pay schedule (next expected payday) and cannot be changed in the app (support may review with pay-schedule documentation). Klover tries the linked debit card first (clears in 2 to 6 hours), then ACH from the linked bank account (up to 5 business days). If funds are short, a partial repayment may be collected and the rest retried later. Early repayment is possible in the app. Payment authorization can be revoked by email (support@joinklover.com), which pauses the account.
No late fees, no interest. The system keeps retrying automatically; after a failed attempt Klover waits 5 business days before reattempting, and in some cases 30 days from the due date. Terms: Klover is non-recourse, users have no obligation to repay, and Klover warrants it will not engage in debt collection, sell the debt to a third party or report to a consumer reporting agency. Klover may suspend or limit the Services until it can charge the advance in full (no new advance while a balance is unpaid). Klover is not responsible for bank overdraft/NSF fees unless caused by its error.
Klover Holdings, Inc., 200 N. LaSalle St. Ste 2000, Chicago, IL 60601 (Terms last updated 2026-07-14).
None named for the advance. The Terms name only Klover Holdings, Inc. as provider of the non-recourse 'Balance Advance'; no bank issues or funds it per the published Terms. (Klover's site also links a Consumer Deposit Account Agreement and Cardholder Agreement for a separate card product; the bank named there could not be read.)
The operator and product terms are documented on this page. That does not establish that an advance is suitable for you or resolve allegations in a lawsuit. The legal record below was checked Sep 29, 2026.
A complaint records allegations, not a finding of liability. Settlements, entered orders, pending cases and supervisory agreements are labelled separately. Research coverage may be incomplete; dates and outcomes are limited to the cited records.
No FTC, CFPB, DOJ or state regulator action against Klover was found in this research. This is a bounded search result, not a guarantee that no action exists.
Private litigation is separate: Pierce v. Klover was filed on May 3, 2024, alleging Pennsylvania lending-law violations, and was dismissed with prejudice by stipulation on July 1, 2024. The terms were not public. Pierce docket on CourtListener (independent archive) .
Moss v. Klover was filed on May 22, 2025, with claims under the Truth in Lending Act and Military Lending Act. A motion to dismiss was denied on March 5, 2026, allowing the claims to proceed; this was not a final liability ruling. The case remained pending, without a published settlement. Both comparisons use $100, 14 days, another bank, $0 tip, one advance per month and no qualifying Varo deposits. Each group keeps its stated delivery speed. Bank support and approval must be checked with each provider.
