What FloatMe actually costs

The default model includes FloatMe membership at $6.99 per month. Its free standard delivery does not remove that membership charge.

Membership
$6.99 per month, automatically renewed. The model allocates the full charge to one advance this month.
Mandatory advance fee
No separate mandatory advance fee in the supplied pricing.
Instant Float
$7.50 on $100, in addition to membership, payable at repayment. Other amounts have their own published fees, and Indiana has a fee cap.
Standard delivery
Free ACH, usually 1-3 business days (initiates within one business day). Instant = seconds to a few hours

The published maximum is $200, while first-time approvals are $10 to $50. A modeled $100 advance is an illustration for someone eligible for that amount, not a promise to a new user.

A no-cost application route is available by email. Response and approval timing are unverified, so it stays separate from the paid membership route. FloatMe is not offered in Connecticut, Nevada or DC.

11 apps like FloatMe, compared by cost

The example: $100 over 14 days, standard delivery, another bank, $0 tip, one advance per month and no qualifying Varo deposits.

Paid in-app memberships are allocated entirely to this one advance. Dave uses its published maximum membership charge. Total payback includes membership even when it is billed separately. The 14 days are a comparison assumption; the provider sets the actual repayment date.

The model uses general fee tables. Personal limits, state exceptions, bank support and approval still need checking. MoneyLion's free route needs MoneyLion Spend, and Current's needs a Current Account. Neither is a free transfer to your selected outside bank.

Other options with an eligibility or price gap

No price is assigned to these apps. Missing information and unmet requirements do not mean a $0 advance.

Not ranked. Requires Chime Checking, an activated physical card and qualifying direct deposits. Select Chime if that is your account.

Not ranked. Mandatory draw fee shown in app. The published external fast-transfer fee does not establish the full advance cost; draw fees remain unpublished.

Not ranked. Requires a Varo account. Without $800 in qualifying deposits, the supplied percentage and dollar fee table conflict. Check the app; this price is not ranked.

What about membership waivers?

Brigit and FloatMe document email routes without a subscription; Cleo allows a customer-service request, and Tilt allows an emailed membership-waiver request. Their response and approval timing are not verified. The ranking uses the paid in-app routes, and the calculator lists these conditional alternatives separately.

When is FloatMe the cheapest?

FloatMe is not the cheapest in the default $100 standard example: its modeled cost is $6.99, while Current, EarnIn, Klover, MoneyLion Instacash each model at $0.00.

FloatMe is not the cheapest for $100 with instant delivery: its modeled cost is $14.49, while EarnIn models at $5.99.

None of the 8 standard and instant examples at $50.00, $100.00, $200.00, $250.00 makes FloatMe the lowest-cost ranked app route.

MoneyLion's standard route requires MoneyLion Spend, and Current's requires a Current Account. Unpublished prices are excluded, so these results cannot prove which offer is cheapest for you. State exceptions, eligibility and personal limits still apply.

Change the amount, delivery speed and monthly membership allocation in the calculator to compare another scenario. Conditional membership waivers and account-specific routes have their own requirements.
